How will I receive my farm share?

Home delivery members will receive a box at their front doors with all of their produce packaged inside.

Pickup members will come to either our Watershed Farm or the Hopewell Farmers Market where all our produce will be out on display. Members will be given a list of what is in the share that week, and they can pick out whichever crops they’d like.

What will be in my weekly share?

Since all of our crops are grown locally, the selection changes with the seasons. While we can’t tell you exactly what will be available week to week, the harvest calendars below can give you an idea of what’s in-season when:

Communication

During the season, we send out a weekly email on Thursdays announcing the crops. From here, you can make a crop substitution, add new items, and cancel/reschedule.

We also use these regular emails to keep you updated on the farm and how things are going. We really value communication and always keep you in the loop.

FAQs

What if I don’t want some of the crops in my share?

Each week we’ll send out an announcement of what crops are in your share. If there’s an item you do not want, you will have the option to substitute that item for something else.

What if I want something that isn’t included in my box that week?

No problem! As a member, you’ll have access to all of our in-season crops through our online store. If you notice your box one week does not have tomatoes, but you need them for a recipe, you can go to our online and add whatever you’d like to that specific box.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is a flat $4 per week.

What if I go on vacation or want to skip a week?

We offer a few options to skip deliveries: 1). You can have your share donated and we’ll deliver it directly to one of our non-profit partners. 2). You can have the share delivered to (or picked up by) a neighbor. 3). We can put your share on hold and give you a double share the next week.

With adequate notice, we can also issue refunds. However, since we budget for crops far in advance and they’re perishable, we can only address refunds on a case-by-case basis.
