Our Story

Before Fairgrown Farm, co-owners James and Alex Klett created River Rd Gardens. With no prior farming experience, the first two years were a struggle to get ahead of the learning curve. However, with struggle comes success.

In Fall of 2022, the Klett brothers approached The Watershed Institute about renting the farm and quickly moved in over winter. Ever since, Klett brothers and the Fairgrown team have expanded the CSA program to over 500 members while growing relationships with local farmers across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Fairgrown Farm is also committed to serving our community, distributing 50,000 units of produce to food banks and disadvantaged communities statewide.
